According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, New Jersey added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (121,525), followed by California (109,209), and Illinois (57,586).
On the other hand, Hawaii added the least number of jobs (-482), followed by Delaware (920), and Mississippi (1,203).
