United States Payroll Employment By State for The Local Government Service Providing Industry in April, 2023

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (7,259), followed by Ohio (4,932), and Wisconsin (4,913).

On the other hand, Connecticut added the least number of jobs (-3,398), followed by Georgia (-1,760), and Indiana (-1,666).
