United States Payroll Employment By State for The Local Government Service Providing Industry in February, 2023

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2023, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (16,638), followed by Illinois (9,539), and New Jersey (6,555).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-970), followed by Connecticut (-140), and Maine (-90).
