According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (31,176), followed by Nevada (4,175), and Florida (2,474).
On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-13,898), followed by Illinois (-12,326), and Michigan (-7,706).
