According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, Missouri added 4,643 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Missouri counties, Jackson added the highest number of jobs (579), followed by Jefferson (332), and St. Louis (278).
