According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (17,262), followed by Ohio (16,516), and Texas (14,329).
On the other hand, Rhode Island added the least number of jobs (-255), followed by Mississippi (-194), and Hawaii (-36).
