According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, New Jersey added 121,410 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among New Jersey counties, Essex added the highest number of jobs (12,388), followed by Middlesex (11,328), and Union (8,133).
