According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, New Jersey added 121,525 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among New Jersey counties, Middlesex added the highest number of jobs (11,185), followed by Essex (10,617), and Union (8,101).
