According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, West Virginia added 7,345 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among West Virginia counties, Kanawha added the highest number of jobs (2,619), followed by Cabell (1,151), and Wood (646).
