According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2023, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the local government professional and business services industry (184), followed by California (100), and Missouri (100).

On the other hand, North Carolina added the least number of jobs (-28), followed by Minnesota (-24), and South Carolina (-21).
