According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government health care and social assistance industry (1,824), followed by Texas (449), and North Carolina (355).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-111), followed by Massachusetts (-43), and Nevada (-40).
