According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Ohio added the highest number of jobs to the local government health care and social assistance industry (876), followed by California (524), and Tennessee (502).

On the other hand, North Carolina added the least number of jobs (-686), followed by New York (-467), and South Carolina (-343).
