According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the local government health care and social assistance industry (1,670), followed by Minnesota (918), and Texas (753).

On the other hand, Kentucky added the least number of jobs (-417), followed by Georgia (-294), and South Carolina (-254).
