According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2022, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the local government health care and social assistance industry (919), followed by Florida (658), and South Carolina (480).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-440), followed by Connecticut (-363), and Wisconsin (-167).
