According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, Louisiana added 1,309 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Louisiana counties, West Baton Rouge added the highest number of jobs (551), followed by Lafayette (292), and Ascension (259).
