According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Louisiana added -2,678 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Louisiana counties, St. Charles added the highest number of jobs (758), followed by Lafourche (357), and St. James (355).
