According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, Louisiana added 2,369 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Louisiana counties, Calcasieu added the highest number of jobs (1,311), followed by East Baton Rouge (301), and Terrebonne (288).
