According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in November, 2019, Louisiana added -604 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Louisiana counties, Ascension added the highest number of jobs (536), followed by East Baton Rouge (413), and Jefferson (183).
