According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2022, Louisiana added -1,037 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Louisiana counties, Calcasieu added the highest number of jobs (438), followed by Lafayette (131), and West Baton Rouge (106).
