According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2023, Alabama added -185 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Alabama counties, Houston added the highest number of jobs (47), followed by Tuscaloosa (32), and Mobile (16).
