According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Alaska added -524 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Alaska counties, Kenai Peninsula added the highest number of jobs (55), followed by Juneau (36), and Matanuska-Susitna (17).
