According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Alaska added 378 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Alaska counties, Kenai Peninsula added the highest number of jobs (65), followed by Anchorage (62), and Prince of Wales-Hyder (55).
