According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2020, Alaska added 229 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Alaska counties, Anchorage added the highest number of jobs (78), followed by Kenai Peninsula (55), and North Slope (52).
