According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2021, Alaska added 10,422 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Alaska counties, North Slope added the highest number of jobs (213), followed by Southeast Fairbanks (11), and Ketchikan Gateway (8).
