According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2020, Louisiana added -1,330 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Louisiana counties, Lafourche added the highest number of jobs (260), followed by Orleans (161), and West Carroll (49).
