According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Louisiana added -837 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Louisiana counties, Orleans added the highest number of jobs (155), followed by Vermilion (105), and Plaquemines (82).
