According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Montana added 10,683 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Montana counties, Gallatin added the highest number of jobs (234), followed by Yellowstone (153), and Lewis and Clark (44).
