According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2020, Illinois added 5,529 number of jobs to the private manufacturing industry. Among Illinois counties, Cook added the highest number of jobs (3,305), followed by Jefferson (893), and Lawrence (526).
