According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Illinois added 42,643 number of jobs to the private service-providing industry. Among Illinois counties, Cook added the highest number of jobs (20,435), followed by DuPage (3,725), and Lake (2,267).
