According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Illinois added 3,977,313 number of jobs to the private service-providing industry. Among Illinois counties, DuPage added the highest number of jobs (9,984), followed by Cook (4,419), and Winnebago (1,552).
