According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2021, Illinois added 49,265 number of jobs to the private service-providing industry. Among Illinois counties, Cook added the highest number of jobs (25,903), followed by DuPage (6,566), and Lake (3,341).
