According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Kansas added 825,633 number of jobs to the private service-providing industry. Among Kansas counties, Johnson added the highest number of jobs (8,387), followed by Shawnee (1,616), and Douglas (1,089).
