According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Maryland added 1,736,247 number of jobs to the private service-providing industry. Among Maryland counties, St. Mary's added the highest number of jobs (182), followed by Dorchester (-11), and Caroline (-93).
