According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Louisiana added 832 number of jobs to the private trade, transportation, and utilities industry. Among Louisiana counties, Lafayette added the highest number of jobs (314), followed by Iberia (246), and Lafourche (138).
