According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Louisiana added 338,933 number of jobs to the private trade, transportation, and utilities industry. Among Louisiana counties, Lafourche added the highest number of jobs (571), followed by St. Mary (152), and St. James (147).
