According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Texas added 46,723 number of jobs to the private agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting industry. Among Texas counties, Hidalgo added the highest number of jobs (397), followed by Red River (171), and El Paso (149).
