According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Alabama added 65 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Alabama counties, Morgan added the highest number of jobs (44), followed by Tuscaloosa (23), and Madison (8).
