According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2023, Alabama added -112 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Alabama counties, Madison added the highest number of jobs (13), followed by Tuscaloosa (12), and Montgomery (4).
