According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2023, California added 174 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among California counties, Kern added the highest number of jobs (39), followed by Monterey (22), and San Bernardino (13).
