According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, Texas added -1,357 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Texas counties, Live Oak added the highest number of jobs (87), followed by Liberty (71), and Hockley (66).
