According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2020, Virginia added 38 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Virginia counties, Buchanan added the highest number of jobs (47), followed by Culpeper (8), and Tazewell (5).
