According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2020, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry (1,616), followed by West Virginia (403), and North Dakota (377).

On the other hand, Alaska added the least number of jobs (-746), followed by Oklahoma (-722), and Arizona (-262).
