According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2020, Alabama added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry (331), followed by Minnesota (150), and Nebraska (84).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-25,516), followed by North Dakota (-3,633), and Oklahoma (-3,414).
