According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2020, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry (918), followed by Oklahoma (506), and Alaska (327).

On the other hand, Minnesota added the least number of jobs (-289), followed by Pennsylvania (-218), and New York (-191).
