According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Arizona added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry (331), followed by Idaho (53), and North Carolina (30).

On the other hand, Oklahoma added the least number of jobs (-3,035), followed by Texas (-2,366), and Kentucky (-1,327).
