According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2023, Louisiana added the highest number of jobs to the private support activities for mining industry (426), followed by New Mexico (365), and North Dakota (184).

On the other hand, Alabama added the least number of jobs (-57), followed by California (-38), and Oklahoma (-18).
