According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2023, Alaska added the highest number of jobs to the private food manufacturing industry (1,814), followed by California (1,276), and North Carolina (706).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-529), followed by Mississippi (-325), and Washington (-260).
