According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2022, Alabama added the highest number of jobs to the private pulp, paper, and paperboard mills industry (90), followed by South Carolina (52), and Ohio (40).

On the other hand, Wisconsin added the least number of jobs (-103), followed by Maine (-62), and Louisiana (-50).
