According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Massachusetts added the highest number of jobs to the private petroleum and coal products manufacturing industry (259), followed by Virginia (256), and New York (235).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-53), followed by Texas (-40), and New Jersey (-25).
