According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2022, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private inland water transportation industry (140), followed by Michigan (87), and Minnesota (67).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-44), followed by Virginia (-19), and Alabama (-6).
